86 gn with hard shifting 2004r and new TCS 12" convertor. When I leave a stop sign driving normal the rpm's go up like the trans is slipping in 1st and 2nd, the car shakes at about 2500 and then it stops slipping (grabs) and continues through the gears fine.
At the track when I stage and launch there is no slipping or shaking of the car. Difference being full throttle and part throttle. What is going on? Shaking is pretty bad!
It did it with the old convertor but it was hardly noticable. Fluid is not burnt or anything.
Detent cable was set by pushing the button at full throttle, I have tried adjusting it either way with no change.
