whats it gonna run at the track guys

ok so i got an 87 gn a few months back and had a few problems out of it but now its right and im wondering what yall thank it might go on track im running 110 octane fuel and a race chip from turbo tweak at 24 lbs i can boost it up to around 10 lbs off the line on the street so any input will be helpfull gonna track it week after next ..............

If it's the build in your sig, I'm gonna go with at lease mid 11's if your tune is on, you launch and 60' well and are running at least some 275/60/15 M/T DR's.

Don't worry too much about cutting a good light....just work on the launch and 60' and the rest will come naturally by holding the foot to the floor and keeping it straight.:biggrin:

2800 stall.. he's probably on a stock turbo, te44, te60?? .. dont think mid 11's.. first time out.

Really only one way to find out. Make sure you are on top of your state of tune and find a local track to take advantage of the cool air. :wink:

yeah its the build in my sig and ive been on the track several times just never in a buick ive always liked these cars but never had my hands on one until now and i know its strong just not sure what its capable of so if i put a 2 step and slicks would that help alot or ???? would love to see tens thats my goal (for now) so what mods would be next if this was ur car ????????

Yes a 2-step and slicks would help a lot...but you could go mid 11's without them on the current build. Razor is definitely right about the stall converter being a tad tight.

My philosophy is...build it to be 10's capable but keep it tuned for mid 11's and just enjoy driving it.

Breaking through that 10.99 barrier comes with a much higher cost of ownership and more down time.
