What’s my tranny worth?

My ’87 BRF tranny was rebuilt in 2006 by Dave Barnes in Omaha NE who did all the GN trannies in the area including Ken Mosher, Chuck Strader, etc so he knew how to build them back in the day to handle 10’s. Mine currently has about 300 miles on it but it has developed a 2-3 flare and I was thinking about purchasing a new one from Extreme Automatics or ?? and just selling mine as-is.
Nothing billet was added and I don’t know exactly what all was done with it but here are a few things that I do believe he did:
Machined for Extra high gear clutches (red’s and blues in the appropriate places
.40” boost valve
10 vane pump
B&M shift kit
Kevlar Band
Roller thrust bearing somewhere
?
?
Other than the 2-3 flare it works great. What’s it worth as-is?

$500-600 and I wouldnt take my trans back to him......IMO it should have had the directs dual fed with a hardned or billet shafted forward drum for a 10 sec build.

It's a core. Most cores go for $450 if its a brf from what I've seen. Buy one from Lonnie and be done with it.

Factory boost valve was a .471'' so I am guessing you meant a .500" throttle valve. I agree with jd on price.
