gonna go e85 mostly street driven car and want to know what people are having good results with as far as size of injectors hi z. so my ecm dont have to be moodded. want the car to have good street manners thanks in advance.

hi z injectors are available in 160 and 210 lb but they are not cheap.

how would the 160 run on the street in normal traffic and getting on it when i want .street manners ?

I don't have any personal experience using the hi z 160 lb inj. So i can't speak of how they behave on the street. But i do know there are members here that do use them on the street so maybe they will see this thread and chime in to answer your question about that.

If you want stock like idle and street manners go with the Siemens 80# injectors.. they are plug and play and are good into the 10's with no issue

stay away from the bigger high Z injectors .. they do not work very well in a true street car ...

the 80s are excellent

Not me, but they are compatible. Yes with stock like idle and drive ability, I've had them as lean as 15.0 with a 224 cam @900rpm.

Compatible as in they will function ... but my point is how well ??

I wouldn't steer someone in the direction of the 160 hi Z injectors ... they leave a lot to be desired on a street car

As well as the person burning the chip is capable of.

there are limitations with that injector itself... beyond what the tuner / chip burner can address... doesn't matter how good you are on a non linear injector
besides ... for his setup above .... does he really need beyond a 80# injector .. seriously ?

I agree with you 100% on non linear injectors being a pain in the ass. Strict linearity out of a big injector doesn't come cheap.

120s on my car no problems at all

Why would you use an injector (160#) that big with a stock long block and turbo? Or is for another car? I have 160# Moran's in a T/A aluminum stroker motor. If you're going from gas to E85 you need an injector about 30% larger. I would think if 60's are working well with gas then 90's or 100's would work well with E85 with your current application.
