Which compressor housing gives you the fastest spool E,S, H with the least lag or is their a seat of the pants difference?

No difference in 99% of the applications. The converter, tune, and air inlet restriction is most of it. I noticed a big difference on the old 72 i had when i removed the stock MAF.

Ok thanks Bison I just was wondering since each compressor had a different A/R # like 60, 70, 75 etc. Thought it might make a difference like the exhaust turbine housing do...

I wondered this too, as It would be nice to have a compressor with a 4" inlet and 3" outlet to match my big mouth intake and precision 3" pipes, and if spool isnt hurt that much, it may be the way to go. I used to have a 3" inlet and 2" outlet, would going to such a larger compressor "hurt"?

I would think that as long as you don't super under size things it would not make
a huge difference. With that being said I would not run an E cover on a billet 67 or above. I have a S cover on my Billet 62 but I could be trying to compensate for other issues...
