I don't have any idea what it is worth but it is really cool. Check out my screen name. I remember my uncle had one back in the early 80's. It sorta worked but not real well. If you come up with what you want for it let me know. I would be interested.

I have NO idea, but my dad was a traveling salesmen and bought a new 79 pickup for "the road"....

Had one in it,,,, light would light up and it would make a funny noize LOL

First off you never said you were selling . You were asking what it was worth. I figured I would show you examples that I found so you could see them, to determine what it could be worth. I am sure that its worth the $40.00 that your friend said it is. I am not judging it or you . I stated that the one on ebay did not have a box. I do not want it or need it. If I had a older muscle car, it might be neat to have inside.:tongue: I am selling off all my stuff now at best offer. Have taken a beating on some things and broke even on others.

I used to have one also... sort of worked, but in the early days of radar detectors, anything that worked at all was cool. Not really worth much as a detector, but would look cool at a cruise night!

Iam selling it as a collectors item. I think a cop might laugh at you if he seen it on your dash.
