whats with these headers

has anyone used these and what type of application is this for as far as horsepower.

Do a search for ebay headers as this has been covered many times.:wink:

Basically be prepared to do some modification because it seems 90% of the time they will not just bolt on....something will not line or the crossover pipe will hit the oil pan. If you're handy with a welder it looks to be a good deal. You get what you pay for.

Also I believe those ebay headers have been sold under different sellers but they all seem to come out of Temple City CA.

thanks i was reading the 9 pages long post but didnt get a real good answer. but i can cut and i got a welder so i just mighty buy them. if they suck i will run them over...

we have another seller with the same set of headers on ebay but it looks like they have made a few changes. item # 250068607813. the crossover look's a little nicer. any opinion's

Lets just think of this from a philisophical view for a second.........



-This company did not even take the proper amount of time, probably a day or two, to even get the fitment right.

-Then they pimp the work out to China.

-When you do get them, you have to weld in an 02 bung.

-There is a high probability you will also have to cut and weld them to get them to fit.

-The durability is unknown, but my guess is they won't last long.



In my opinion, most people are purchasing these purely on cosmetics. So wouldn't that $200-300 be better spent on just getting the factory headers rewelded if needed, and ceramic coated? I mean, if you are at a point where the factory headers have hit their limit, then I would assume you spent enough money to get there not to cheapen out at the end over a matter of $300-400.00 with a reliable known product.



Those are just my thoughts on the matter.

I would be much more happy with stockers that have been ceramic coated. I'm bringing mine in to get coated next week! If anybody wants a set, I have an extra set of headers and crossover I can bring in.
