I have all four original NOS in GM packaging. They are stainless rather than black. Needless to say these are very hard to come by...

Sorry, pretty new to the board. didn't mean to offend anyone, come to think, you seem to be the only one offended. nevermind.

This is not just common courtesy it is common sense and not just on this board but with anything on the web. I wish the moderators would make it mandatory to list your location.
You didn't offend anyone, it is just really annoying to have to ask where you are located and most of us just wont even respond even if we have what you are looking for.
There are alot of people on this board willing to lend a hand and help others troubleshoot/work on their vehicles when the need arises or even lend parts to others to help them out. People who don't or wont list their location are only hurting themselves in the long run.
Welcome aboard.

Bryan, again sorry to offend. I guess I just don't get the "where I'm at" deal. If I had a part that you wanted to buy and I wanted to sell it and you have the money, I wouldn't care if you're in Memphis, TN or BFE. (BTW I'm in Memphis)

Hey guys... If you don't mind me asking, what are they worth these days?

Again, not offended. Here are a couple of scenarios for you.

Let's say your car is running erratic and you decide you are going to start throwing parts at it and you start out by purchasing a new MAF and that doesn't fix it and then you buy a coil pack and that doesn't fix it now you are off to buy a module, and on and on...
If you had your location listed there is a good chance that there would be someone local that would have let you borrow the parts or even help you troubleshoot your problem without spending un-needed money.

Or maybe someday you would be looking for all 4 wheel well moldings for your car...( hypothetical of course ), maybe someone local to you would have a set and you would get to see them before you spend the money and save yourself on shipping costs.

Like I said before you are just hurting yourself by limiting the responses you will get.

I just don't get why people do not include their location in their profile when joining. There must be alot of top secret and "wanted" people that join here.

Not sure what the GN black are selling for but I've turned down $500 for the shiny stainless... In the many years I've played with Buicks on and off I've only found one full set of of NOS in the package never disturbed stainless and they are in my basement. I paid nearly $500 I think 4 years ago... The right rear is the tough one to find and I actually have two of them but one has been out of the wrapper but still has the plastic strip of protection... to find them in the GM paper is tough... still have mine if anyone is interested ...

Here is a sight rarer than Bigfoot - NOS in the wrapper full set of black.

There were a few posts on here a couple of years back about stating your location, complete discriptions of you Tr and the danger that that info was being used to steal cars. I moved to this area 5 years ago and my 87 GN was stolen out of my drive within 3 months, I quit listing my location (on any forum) until I have a pretty good idea of with whom I am speaking. Not top seceret, not wanted, just a little cautious. Also for the record, about 8 years ago when I bought my first GN (I now have 2 GN's, a LeSabre GN and a TTA) I used to read and post to this forum quite offen, however I've found that like many other car enthusiasts groups, several of the most avid posters are snobs. They talk about helping anyone but every offer is accompanied with a quick jab just to let everyone know how much smarter and superior they are and how stupid you must be for even daring to offer up such a ridiculous post on "their" forum. I have made other posts where I did list my location when it was pertient (i.e. looking for a mechanic in my area). But to ask if anyone wanted to sell wheel molding for which I am going to pay shipping, I just didn't see the big deal. Maybe the moderters will take your suggestion and make location manditory or maybe they will continue to let those who choose to disclose it do so and those who do not continue to learn from those of you that know so much more than us.
Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my post even though I did not meet you criteria.

I dont think someone could find the whereabouts of your car by just listing what state you are in to get a idea of what zone i would be shipping to to get a estimate of the costs. you could save alot of time say if someone is on the west coast and you only want to sell locally on the east coast. no one says you have to give the street address or exact location.

Thanks to everyone that responded, I have purchased some. There seemed to be a lot of interest from others in need of the same item! Maybe the thread will help someone else as well.
