wheelie setup help

Hi im new to this forum and was wondering if i could get some help from some of you guys. I have this guy that wants to do wheelies! Now im more familiar with awd cars and keeping the wheels on the ground, lol.

My questions are what Hp and torque numbers are required to lift the wheels off the ground, also what type of rear suspension is needed?

Can the stock block do this, with stock intake and etc?

He will have the fast computer that i will tune, I am just not familiar with this engine and the limits of it. I would prefer that both wheels lift evenly and not torque one side up. Is this possible on the stock engine setup?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here is one of our members with a stock block/heads/intake and a lot of blood sweat and tears. Does he want to do anything besides wheelies.

that is his goal is to just lift the wheels off the ground just an inch or two. He doesnt care about trap speeds or 1/4 times. lol. I know this seems funny but that is what the customer wants. Do you know his screen name so i could pm him. Thanks in adavance.

Get a decent rear sway bar, drag shocks, drag radials, and 300lbs of concrete in the trunk as far back as you can get it... no engine work needed. I also HIGHLY advise against fast unless the car already has it. Our computers are more than enough for any real street car.

Seriously though, if he wants the front wheels up, there will be more suspension work than engine work... A transbrake helps too.

also some drag springs for the front. A trans brake and loose converter will help also.

The guys name is the same in the vid JohnPlogII. but He's probably making at least 900 to the tire.

Here is my car that is a bolt on car, unopened long block and intake. A lot of boost/trans brake/and all the mods mentioned in the comments on youtube and in my sig.

why would you say no standalone, he has a chip now and it sucks. I have never seen a chip do anything good. I love standalones because you unlock the whole engine potential. Great drivability and wot. Im not a huge fan of the "fast" standalone but i believe that is the only one that is compatible with these correct? I usually prefer like "aem" and others that are made for one type of car that is plug and play. But as long as the system works and their is support for it unlike using a universal standalone. Ok i guess you get it i Love Standalone ecu's,lol.
