I am currently running 26x8.5x15 size M/T slicks and that was with my stock stuff combo...

now I have a TE-44 and 50 lb/hr injectors and I was wondering will these slicks be able to hook up well with say 25 psi of boost?! I wouldn't think so but I could be wrong...my 265 street tires are actually wider than these slicks...

should I look to upgrade? or can I still use these things? they are like brand new still with like 15 runs on them

It is not the width that will be of importance, it is the height. The contact patch on a short and wide tire is larger from side to side. This is most beneficical on a car set up to corner. A drag car needs straight line traction. A taller tire of the same width will have a greater contact patch front to rear which is the ticket for straight line traction, but not cornering. A 28" tall slick with the same width will give you more traction and perhaps another 2 MPH just due to the added overall gearing. ;)

don't upgrade until you are spinning what you got, or wear 'em out....then go to a 28X9.....the slicks you have are good to the 10's if you can handle the rpm (25 lbs of boost won't make any difference unless you are launching with that:eek: )
