Seriously is it even possible with out damaging the motor? Turn off injector pulse, pull the sparkplug.

You could but probably not race it. Plus there is still the loss he'll have throwing around the weight but not combusting two cylinders.

Yeah, but that isn't his problem. Haha.

What would I need to do the V6 to keep up?

My new "To Do" list
1- N2O 35 hp shot
2- Adjustable rear upper control arms
3- Diet

do a 75hp kit.. no brainer. A stock Buick will go high `11s with that.. Plus whatever else ya have done will help.. main thing is to get it flying out of the hole !!!

I would not do anything. Just laugh at them for the amount of money they spent to finally beat an almost 30 year old, itsy-bitsy v-6 engine. Then race them. If you get lucky and win then you can really salt the wounds.;)

From all the research I've done. The nitrous companies calculate their hp levels on/for N/A engines.
And after talking to a bunch of buick and other turbo guys. The general opinion is to start with a 35 shot as that should net me about 90 hp.

The ws6 and me are at least $25k apart.

That 6.90 in my sig is with a 6262 with boost and fuel thrown at it on a 1.61 launch...equivalent of a 10.87. Nail him on the tree and hang on. I love beating on these guys with their high dollar cool guy parts.

Long over due update.
My cousin took his WS6 to the track a completely new build with just a few here and there WOT passes and it was his first time ever at a track.
His best time was 12.05 on one run and a 119 mph on another run. He got 4 or five runs in, he was in the 12.0s for most of the runs with one 12.10.
MPH were 119, 115, 117 and ??????
He also did a heck of a job driving the shit out of the car-- He did slightly better than a prodriver (builder made two passes)
He did have have some technical difficulties
1- Tuner set the limiter to 6500-- The car starts making power at 5K -- Not much of a window to work with.
2- something else that i can't remember.
His new list of upgrades
1- Shocks-Adjustable - the car was hooking pretty good but whatever.
2- 102 throttle body - on hand and should have been done a long time ago--my cousin procrastinated on that one
3- 200 shot of N2O w/ MSD two Step
4- Retune more aggressively
5- Builder is suggesting 4.50 something gears- not likely to happen.
Overall it was a great outing especially for a new build and first time to a track.
The only problem was, if you can call it a problem was that the engine builder, car builder and builder's friends got him super hyped-up by predicting 10.80s "all day long" yes all motor. So even though it was a good outing he was not a happy camper. Funnier shit is that now they already told him that on juice it should be a 9.80s car "all day long"

and you were worried about having enough in your v6 to take him
quick calc assuming hes 3700lb shows best he could have done was just under a 11.5 with about 495hp(hp based on trap speed and weight)

now if he sees 200hp gain on the nos (doubtful) he would be almost 700hp and would go best of 10.24 133 that 9.80 is not going to happen unless he hooks mad and finds another 75hp

seeing as how he was only 12.0 with 11.5 power that 10.24 is more like 10.75
odds are he wont even get below 11.5 on juice

I hope he gets the numbers that he wants - seriously he is a GREAT Guy and i wish him the best. That said i want to whip his ass but i am scared to beat him with my little V6 as he might go postal on someone.

I can't wait to do the stuff that we talked about.
I am also going to upgrade the turbo again and finally get the my own N2O system in. If i can cover him with the V6 i'll definitely hold off on the LS stuff.
