Where are the cheapest airline tickets??

I just bought Tix from BWI to Orlando, one way for $50.00. Total round trip price was $112.00. Go to southwest airlines websight, they have some great internet deals. Usualy some form of restriction on purchasing them at least two weeks in advance. Other than that, it's pretty straight forward.

If you don't mind a little drive when you get to FL. It's cheaper to fly into Jacksonville than Orlando. That race is an absolute blast. I lived in FL for 5 years, and raced my motorcycle at Orlando Speedworld ( Bithlo, to the locals) while down there. The Street Nat's was my absolute favorite event there. Watched a guy flip his car off the track and into the pond one year!! Nice people at that track too--Staff and racers. Wish I was going this year! Have a great time!

Best deal i can find so far is around $170. All the good deals seem to end around the end of Sept. Maybe i need to wait a few more weeks and they will drop the price maybe?? Cant wait i went last year and it was cool so we are going down this year again. Think my brother will run his Monte SS this year. Frank

Are you actually calling the airlines, looking up on their websites, or looking up the 'search' websites (travelocity, expedia, etc.).

My best experience (I do a lot of international flying out of BWI) is with actually calling the airlines. The 'search' websites tend to not do as well. If you call them, sometimes they'll tell you when specials and deals are coming. Or how you can modify your flights to get better prices. Certain days have better prices then others. Sorry, couldn't tell you what are the best days.

I've tried Expedia and Southwest. Couldn't get onto Airtran website?? Priceline is out because i want a direct flight. Maybe i'll give them a call then, those 2 are usually the best price i've found. Thanks,Frank

Try JetBlue. I'm not sure of all the airports they fly out and into.
