Hey,

put this two parts out of the engine bay, when I put the engine and the coolers off for rebuild.
But I can't remember for what they are. Can anybody help.

Thanks from Germany

Don't know where they go but the post doesn't belong in the "HOW I DID IT" section.;)

They look like the pieces that go on the bottom side of the core support on a 1986-7 TR.

These would be the mounting blocks for the one piece air dam, if the car came with one?

Thanks Nick. Maybe you have a photo of it? Air Dam is the piece which is located in front of the front wheels???????

They bolt onto the core support underneath the car and holds the air dam on that's located by the stock innercooler shroud inlet. Most cars don't even have this on them.

I use to toss those blocks. Then had someone post they needed one. I went looking for the 5-6 I just knew I had. Nope. Only had one set. Now I save them as they are unique to the '86-7 turbo Regals. Probably be like trying to find Boss 429 sway bar bushings some day.
