Where do you think this oil is coming from ?

I was detailing my engine compartment the other day and saw liquid puddle down near the thermostat housing near the front of the manifold. As far as I can tell it is oil and not antifreeze.
Any idea what might be leaking there in that area AND what is involved in fixing it ?

Do you find any oil in the hose between your up pipe and intake?....That would be the best source for any oil residue in that vicinity. After checking that and finding no oil or oil leaks from that hose, I'd check the breather tube connection to the driver's side valve cover....

Will check. Is it possible that the intake manifold gasket would be the problem ?

Just guessing with a keyboard....But, I'd think it was most likely engine coolant from the thermostat area or oil from the up pipe....Don't know how oil could come 'out' of a manifold gasket....
