I already have the HR poly drivers side. I just want to replace the original stock passenger side mount with a new / good rubber motor mount. Anyone have a good source for a quality rubber mount?

Thanks, Craig

eng mount

Another board member on here got mine thru Carquest. But I'm sure that your local auto parts store or Kirbans have it too. Heck make it a match and get an HR for the pax side also.

I always recommend running HR's on both sides so the motor sits level. Never know what you are getting for stock motor mounts.

If you do not go with Marks suggestion on using both HR mounts, try to find a GM mount. They seem to be less mushy and less inconsistent than junker aftermarkets.

I went to the dealer and tried to get a GM engine mount. No luck - they are discontinued. Anyone have a souce for a GM mount or good substitue? I guess almost all replacements are made over seas and quality is varing.

I also recommend running both HR mounts. Sure, you'll feel more engine vibration, but rest assured you'll have piece of mind and wont need any crumby tie downs.

I would buy HR Parts poly unit. Jack Cotton (Mass) or Cal Hartline (FL) can supply what you need.

I have always ran the HR poly mount on the driver's side then a stock replacement auto parts store mount on the passenger side with no problems. The cars I have had set up this way have been mid 10 second cars. No doubt the HR passenger side mount would be very high qaulity and would work great I just went with a stocker to try to help with vibration. The one I recently got from Orielly's did say made in the USA on it.
