Where To Buy Speedpro 204 / 214 ?

I bought mine from the local O'reilly autoparts that I used to work for. The part # was CS1016R I think. I had to special order it. The specs for it are
dur@ .05 204 214
sae dur. 280 290
cam lift .280 .295
valve lift .448 .472
lobe cntrs 107 117
lobe seperation, is 112 (I think)
RED or another user can verify these numbers, I don't have the box handy, but its a great camshaft. Any auto store should be able to get their hands on one for about 100$ or so. Good luck

. EXACT specs as the Sealed Power Cam but made from Elgin .Just got mine this past Monday from Northern Auto Parts. Part # is CS1016R as stated above. As far as those specs, not sure on the lobe seperation, Im looking at the box right now and it doesnt say, all other #s mentioned are right on.
Price was $101.23 and $2.83 ea for the Sealed Power lifters (#HT969).
Check out a thread from about a week ago that I posted regarding this cam. Someone had mentioned a price of $100 which I didnt think of much at the time, until I found out he was talking about Canadian currency, which worked out to be in the $60~ range U.S. !
P.S. You wont find it on Northern's website. I called them at (800) 831-0884. They were the only place that I found that had it in stock. Summit can get it too for $94 but will take a couple weeks, it only took me a couple of days to get mine.

add the 2 lobe cetrlines together and divide em by 2 and you get your 112 lobe seperation

My only concern is lifters. Sealed Power, stock Gm?
This is the same cam as the Edelbrock you can get from Summit and Jegs. Are the Edelbrock lifters the real deal for our 3.8's? This cam is going in my hot air car. The theory is these cams are best suited for cars with low exhaust back pressure. A stock exhaust manifold/ small turbine housing set up has alot of back pressure. Add headers and a PTE housing, get lag. This cam might keep exhaust velocity up for less lag with less converter. The hot air cars need a free flowing exhaust side to get rid of heat. I have been throwing this around in my head for awhile now. After seeing Red's times (mph) with this cam, I was sold on it, and after seeing Lee is running a split duration on his hot air, I couldn't resist trying it. I am still unsure about it on my IC car, although Red's car has me tempted to switch it too.
