I've got a set in the garage from my Cutlass. Bet they'd look stellar on the GN. :vomit:

I wonder if they would pound on over a set of GNX wheels. Do they lock in the center? ...or do they have those sharp splines around the inside edge?

Seriously,I'd love to have a Turbo Limited with the rattling wire wheel covers. Ultimate sleeper.

They have both. A 'cap' gets bolted on via three of the wheel stud/lugs. Pound the wheel cover on as the spikes dig into the rim, then a bolt goes into the center that threads into the cap. With a snapped-into-place center trim hiding the retaining bolt.

Me, I want the curb feelers on my GN :inpain:

I do have a limited getting painted now when I get it back definitely going to get hub caps. I would like to get 15 inch ones maybe off a lesabre.

Most ridiculous thread I've read in a long time. I guess white walls look good too on a TR?

This is my brother's Regal...an '87 he bought three years ago for $1200. He painted the tail light bezels and headlight bezels, plus I got him the aftermarket side markers ( he loves the orange tint, rather than the yellow originals)
He took off the hubcaps like you have and got the chrome wheels from Carlisle. The interior is just perfect, and it came with all documents.
It's not a turbo, but a V8.....damn thing rides so comfortable......like a Buick!:D Even came with a sunroof.

It had 50,000 miles on it when he got it. I keep telling him I'm going to sneak a lot of parts off of it for my GN.:LOL:He'd better watch out.

Nice Regal. The 307 Olds Y engine in these also have a roller cam. If the intake manifold gasket ever needs to be replaced need to get the correct gasket. From memory (you know how good that can be!), the Fel-Pro gasket works, while the Victor Reinz gasket hits the retaining bolts for the lifter spider.

These engines have so much torque that some have a 2.14 rear ratio. And they are smooth.

Looks good.....for a V-8. What's going on with the bumper fillers?

Rick, the bumper fillers are ones I found for him a while back via the Internet...made of fiberglass....the originals were shot.......he got a set of four and put them on himself....I don't know if he plans on getting the car painted or not....he said he was, but...you know how life goes. I'll pass your compliments on to him, he'll appreciate it.

I don't think Mike's (Spoolfool) excellent fillers were available back then.......I would have preferred them instead.....but you go with whatever you find back then.
