which cam will perform faster?

i have a 274 stroker block with gn-1 heads,70bb turbo, which cam would give me the fastest performance? 218/218? 224/224?, or a 230/230 roller cam?

It is not that easy. need to know converter and how high you are willing to spin the motor, is this a drag car only?

Cal Hartline uses something in the low 230* range if that is any help.
I would not even bother with a 218* in a 274CI motor, but that is just me.

Need more info. Converter, comp ratio, gears, weight? Maybe a little more than the 218. I dont see a need for anymore than 220 with the tiny turbo. The turbo will run out of steam too soon with that combo and raising the rpm will further cause it to bottleneck the combo. If you race a lot and drive little i would consider a solid roller. I would consider a larger turbo for that engine also.

It will be a street and track car,right now i have a 9/11 3500 lock up on the 200r4 trans,3200#,i maybe looking to go to a 76 turbo later and a 400 trans and up the converter to 3800-4000 range. i ve been leaning towards a 224/224 cam but wanted some opions on exact grind i should use-maybe custom? also i may use the S2 aluminum heads i have later with a sheet metal intake.just want to get the basic lower end done and maybe next season go with some upgrades.
