I went to AutoZone and Advance to get a new Powermaster, and they came up with a number of different ones:

BRAKE POWER BOOSTER
CARDONE 52-9702 $347.99

BRAKE POWER BOOSTER
CARDONE 54-71243 $104.99
W/O MASTER CYLINDER

BRAKE POWER BOOSTER
CARDONE 50-1243 $170.99
WITH MASTER CYLINDER

Which one do I need? I thought theses were less than $200, but I heard the price went up. So I'm confused. And the parts-counter monkeys weren't much of a help either.

Thanks.

You want a dual diaphram booster which would be the smaller diameter one. The single diaphram is a larger diameter, but thinner profile. If you have stock front brakes, then you will need the master cylinder as well. If you have the b body or similar front brakes you will need the b body master cylinder.

Would I be able to get by with purchasing one of them?

I would have to assume those are the vacuum units. You might be able to see a pic at autozone.com but not sure, haven't been out there in a while. Thats where I picked mine up.
