I WANT to add an electric fan to my Hayden 1679 trans cooler, what are you guys using and how did you install them?
I will probably also add a scoop of some sort.
GN with Front mount IC
Thanks for your help.

Mounted a big 11x13 or so bar and plate trans cooler in between the intercooler pipes. Zip tied a motorcylce fan to it that moves A LOT of air, and it's not even wired up yet lol

X2 with the motorcycle fan- they are cheap on flebay and move a lot of air. I used a derale inline AN temp switch from summit to turn it on. Im pretty sure mine was from a honda cbr600 f4, i had one lying around from a wreck. I bent up some brackets out of .090 aluminum, drilled a bunch of holes and voila.

I made brackets out of aluminum also. Even with nylock nuts I couldn't keep bolts from falling out of the damn thing so its ziptied. Before I had the dual fans put in I had it hooked up to the power on the cooling fan so it switched on when the fan did. Worked great. Need to hook the fan up to the dual fan but I don't have the right connectors to do it. A fan really isn't needed as long as you got the cooler in direct airflow but with a fmic its sometimes hard to do. Some air is better than none though.
