Neither in the near future seeing how GM just announced it will be sinking 3 Billion into Buick to revamp it.

the future forcast for buick doesn't have a lot of stuff on the plate up to 2007..

Right now I can't tell the difference from any of the Buick sedans

Sometimes I wonder if Buick is even on Lutz's radar screen.

But based on what he's delivered with the "GTO" (while not totally awful but rather uninspiring nonetheless), I'd be happy if he leaves the legacy of the turbo Buick untouched for a while.

I dont think anybody will get the axe anytime in the near future. After all the flak they got from deep sixing Olds they cant afford another lame brain move like that. Heck it wouldn't suprise me if they added another division in the next 10 to 20 years under the premise we need to appeal to a different kind of buyer. After all a lot of us will be in our golden years and not interested in buying cars. BTW I'd fire Lutz, personally with all the interest and money he has in DMX I think its hard for him to be unbiased as far as GM is concerned. His first year on the job hasn't showed to many promises.

Personally I feel that neither Buick or Pontiac will get the axe any time soon.Theres a ton of Buick Century's,Buick LeSabre's,Pontiac Grand Am's,and Pontiac Gran Prix's in my area.Axing Olds made enough people mad so they wont risk any further damage.

Daewoo of course! They already reniged on parts and warranty once.

Lutz is a smart man but he's leading idiots. Averages gravitate toward the lowest common denominator which in this case is affecting his performance. The design process is not fully in his grasp even yet; it'll be years before anything very attributable to him comes to market.
