Here's what I've had in the car for about 12 years now. A Biondo brand, from Jeggs or Summit, can't remember.

SignUp Now!Could the line lock hold 5 psi at the line for launching? Could that hurt anything? I think I read that the trans brake is not good for the transmission, and I'm not looking for a 15 psi launch.
I just bought the Summit brand (Looks identical to the Hurst one) I was gonna get the Biondo one, but i decided i wanted it look like a nice piece of hardware, and they were the same price too!
I dont see the need for a indication light, and i was gonna use my own switch, so i didnt buy any install kit. Also, i havent got mine yet, but i will tell you guys how it turns out when it's done. (Comes thursday, will install saturday)

I just ordered the same one from Summit, for same reason-looks like the Hurst unit only cheaper. I hope we made the right decision! I placed a bid on a Hurst unit on ebay of $75 but was outbid, so I figured why spend more if the Summit one is the same.
Hey Scot (or anybody else out there)-
I received my line lock and I still have a question. After doing some searching, is it true that if I install it at the master cylinder, then my brake light will always stay on with my foot off of the brake? But if I install it after the proportioning valve, the light will work correctly? Thanks!

What some people do is push down on the brake pedal and set the line lock then let up on the pedal and press it down and hold it. This will create extra pressure in the system and should hold your 5 PSI.
This is what I did when I had vacuum brakes and I have friends who do this with PowerMasters. Now that I have the Hydro Boost installed it is a non issue.
Good luck!
Thanks Rick! Yes it's VERY important to bleed the brakes! I'm glade everything worked out okay for you. Scot w.I installed my line lock this evening. I would like to thank Scot for the excellent pics. I couldn't have done it without him. I didn't bleed the brakes, and I can't hold boost. I know the line lock works because it prevents the car from rolling at idle. I just wanted to make sure that it is imperative to bleed the brakes, or could I have a problem?
