You don't have to have a translator, but they are nice.

If you want something easy, you can try to find a stock replacement.

If you want the best, and have an extra $450-$500 laying around, I'd go with a Translator +, LS1 MAF, and an Extender Extreme chip. That's what I've got. :biggrin:

$179 for the trans
$80 for the LS1 MAF at Full Throttle

Thats just $260 if you used the same chip you already have....add another $120 for an Extender chip and your only in $380.

The Translator + (the one I suggested) is $250. :wink:
Add that extra $80 to your total, and you've got $450 (My number) Add some shipping charges and you are over $450.
