I've seen reference to the AC 20, 22 and 30. Which one should a modded car have? Any downfall to any of the above?

If not AC, which brand?

Thanks in advance.

You'll never go wrong with an AC Delco O2 sensor. I work as a tech and all I do is diagnose driveability problems with computer controlled/Fuel injected cars. Aftermarket brands like Walker are garbage. I've seen these universal sensors create biasing problems. Bosch doesn't seem to last as long as Delco units when it comes to aplitude over time. NTK/NGK is a factory sensor to many manufacterers, but mostly with Wide Band units and not the narrow band "O2" sensors that the Buick runs.

Any of the Delco units will work fine and none are any better when it comes to voltage output, sensitivity, or biasing control.

Just my 2 cents.

Hi,
I run an AFS22, the GNX sensor. I tested it versus an AFS20, the stock GN unit, and noted faster response time, using a Snapon Graphing multimeter. As to whether this makes a big difference while using the stock ecm, I'm not sold. However, price is good, run the best, as they are very close in price.
A lot of people love the Nipponese sensors, more power to 'em. It's all a mixed bag in the auto parts market today. Have fun!

denso

Denso has been the major choice because it holds up better under racing conditions w/the additions of racing fuels or additives. The others breakdown in a hurry. ;)

A bit off topic, but when your 02 starts going south,
what signs do you see on your scantool other than low cross counts ?
