Which Oil Pan Gasket??

Which oil pan gasket are you folks using? I last bought GM but after taking it off to repair engine I tried cleaning the gasket with brake clean. The gasket stretched to where the holes did not line up so looking for another gasket.
What is preferred? The GM is a rubber type with ridge lines but is this the best or are there others that are used?

They all work well with proper install. My last motor with a girdle I used the Duttweiler cork. You can get it for like $10.00 from www.seturbo.com

Go to a Carquest parts store and get the Victor Renz black rubber gasket. It is much better than the Felpro blue gasket. Make sure everything is clean and free from oil. Use a brake cleaner spray on the mating surfaces. Install the gasket dry and you will be pleased with the results.

Ok, so you are saying aftermarket instead of GM? How about Fel-Pro, do they make a gasket that is any good for this? Thanks.
Any other recommendations?

I am leaning toward the cork style, can they be bought locally? Do not want to wait for mail order. Is there a P/N for one bought at the local stores? Thanks
