Which way does the flex plate go on

Does the converter side of the flex plate have recesses or raised areas where the converter feet attach? If I put my TCI flexplate on with the SFI inspection sticker towards the trans, the converter feet will mount to recesses. If I put it on with the SFI sticker towards the block the converter feet will mount to raised pads.

Which way is correct?

The converter needs to mount to the raised portions. If it mounts into a recess, the pump might not engage the converter snout properly.

Thanks. Just seemed strange that the SFI sticker should face the block, but I guess that way they can read it if the drip pan is off.
