My 200 4R trans is near perfect in operation, but it does have a very loud whine when the converter is locked up - any common causes of this? Trans or converter?
It seems to be louder now that I have more power than before: on the chassis dyno this last Wednesday it laid down 578 rwhp locked, and 541 rwhp unlocked.
The engine, a natuarally aspirated 496 BBC is fairly loud on its own - yet the whine rises above the engine thunder when the converter is locked.
