this year on the Daytona infield. I think the outline white letter would be the best if thats your cup of tea, just not many options for that. Eagle GT's are all solid letters now.

I wouldn't be a big fan of the white letters on an all-black GN, but I really like the look on my Maroon T (at least I did last time the car saw daylight. . . .)

Ok, Ill be the a-hole.. When I see white letter tires I think of trailer parks, and the same goes for mudflaps. That one T above would look so much better without mudflaps and white letter tires. It's a really clean car otherwise. I cringe seeing that sort of thing as bad as when I cringe seeing 26" wheels on a regal. Both of them just reinforce stereotypes. All it needs next is a CB antenna to complete the look. :p

I can't live without the white leter tires if you have the stock t-wheels them u need the white letter tires.

I prefer the Outlined White Letter(OWL) tires to the Raised White(or yellow) Letter. It makes the car look period correct IMO. Hey the TR has old square seal beamed headlights. How outdated does that look? Anybody remember red line or gold line tires? What about drag slicks with whitewalls? Same thing. Those only look good on the cars that were around when that stuff was popular. Back in the late 70's Goodyear had the Wingfoot GT radial. It had a thin white whitewall in the tradition of those old redlines. They were the hot set up if you were into autocross or roadracing. I never heard one complaint about running them on a race car. For those who say mullet or trailer trash look Dudes, your driving a 20YO American car that looks like a Monte Carlo! Aint nothing going to shake that image, reguardless of how old you are.

OUCH! :p kinda harsh! gotta agree with ya on the 26" wheels though.

Imo

got em on my 84 GN and they look look better than blackwalls on that car. Maybe it is the rims (stock).

Now the YELLOW raised letter i.e NASCAR style, those are just wrong on a street car, heck they even look bad on a race car.

Does anyone know why goodyear uses yellow and not white on the nascar racing tires?

Mudflaps look better than rock chips.... believe me it was a tough decision. But they do the job.

Do you have the factory chip guard on your car? I run some pretty wide rubber and I dont have a stone chip problem on the panels that are chip guarded.

No chip guard on the blue one, can't stand the stuff. My black car has chip guard, but it's chipped all to h*ll anyways (I drive it quite a lot for an old car). It'll get GM issue mudflaps too when it gets repainted.

I like them on stock wheels also.
