Who has a Zune? I have ?'s

We got our 10 year old a Zune for Christmas. It is somewhat cool and all, but I do not know if there are better ways to put files on it. I have figured how to transfer songs/alblums etc, and movies. The messed up thing is it looks like only WMV videos are what is supported. It takes some 6 hours to convert a movie to a WMV, and then another 3-5 hours to convert over to the Zune.

Is there a quicker way to do this?

I have one. And I can tell you, there's no easy way around this.

That's the one problem I find with Zune's. The video capabilities really lacks in the easiness that one would like in getting it to become compatible.

Come on, it requires WMV files. What the heck does it have to do to them???
