U S Army '67-70 (74G, SP6/E6....they hardly ever shot at us in the computer center.....in Germany)
 
6 years in the Air Force, during Desert Storm 1.

Never went to the desert, stayed the whole time in Okinawa.
 
I understand you have to be at least 6' tall to be in the C/G..

In case the ship sinks, then you can walk ashore....

VMFA-323 Airframes...'92-'96...started at El Toro,went on westpac on the Constellation,finished up at Miramar.

I just heard that joke the other day for the first time, and I lost it. That's quality entertainment.

I keep thinking about joining the Coasties when I get out. I should be an E-6 by then which would rule in the Coast Guard. Also, they have awesome Duty Stations.

VMFA-232 Airframes from 97-01 at Miramar. I probably knew some of the same guys that you knew. I guess I had it easy since I didn't have to go on the boat.:)
