Who has the fastest TSO car?

I was wondering who has the fastest TSO car in the land. Im going to be in this class and am curiuos as to how fast some of you have been.

I think cal hartline has been 8.50s It also looks like there may be a few more cars in this class this year than in the past.

I think Tony Gomes is the fastest in a TSO Type Car.
He has been 8.4 @ 16X

Ted,

Your point is well taken.
How about this when Tony comes out to TSO he will be
the fastest. The two other guys that run really hard have stock
type heads and will have to push harder.( Joe Lubrant and Cal Hartline.) I respect both of those very much. I am sure Jack will run pretty well also.

Who is the fastest and quickest at a TSO Race???

I don't think an 8 second pass has even been made in elims but I'm sure Fiscus and Hartline have ran 8's in qualifying.

Tony will be up there and Fiscus will probably step it up a little more if he got his problems sorted out. Both of these guys will leave nothing on the table, I've seen them both kick the rods out trying to put up some numbers.

I'm looking forward to the Nats this year. Should be the best heads up turnout ever. TSM will be large and TSO should have it's largest turnout ever.

Hartline, Fiscus, Tony, Lubrant, O.C, Chris Lyons, Cotton, Ted A? and the one with Billy Anderson. Hopefully some more I can't think of.

That is Jeff that started this thread, he must be shook up, I told him yesterday we'll have to lean on it this year if he wants to run with the rest of the heavy hitters!We are changing a couple things on his combination that will definately work out for the best!. Jeff ran an 8.7? and an 8.69 in Cecil at the Buick event and went 158mph, definately not in a TSO race but,it was with a legal TSO car (Champion heads too John!).The car weighs in the range of 3480, probably closer to 3500 now.
I think Cal, Fiscus,Jack, Odell and Joe L. have all run in the 8's or real close with legal cars. I am not sure of Tony's combination but he is fast none the less! It will be an interesting season!

If I remember correctly, only 5 cars have ever passed TSO tech in the history of the class. I too believe that the Stage2 headed cars are going to be the fastest now that the bigger turbos are allowed. With that said, I'm not counting Jeff or Joe out.

Won't be running TSO Dusty. I am putting another car together for TSM. DLS will be working on another engine for TSO. I think TSM will have my hands full this year.

I'd place bets on Jeff's car to be the car to watch this year, he sure ended last year on a good note. Let's not forget about making rounds either. I'd bet old Jack is going to be pushing the envelope too.

Im gonna run TSO this year also,Im sure i dont have teh capabilty of an 8sec pass, But IF all goes well it should run mid to low 9s consistant.
Main reason being i wont pass tech for any other class anyway.And im not changing anything to run TSE.

My boy I never stated that I had the (fastest TSO legal car) In fact my sig says TSO outlaw whats been said is that I have the fastest stock suspension v6 buick. You have never seen my car with the 88 so you don't know whats legal on it and whats not. So for you to make any statement about knowing my combo is a mute point. Its too bad your not racing TSO this year But then again I have a TSM car that is going together so either way we will meet . John Thanks for the vote of confidence TSO will be fun This year If I can get this new turbo spooled who knows but anyhow records should be broken this year.
