lucky man i would of loved to have that cherry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! This an odd Limited in that it's very lightly optioned. Who'd pay for the LC2 upgrade without a posi (has one now), or who'd pay for pin stripes and laudau roof without a remote mirror or reclining seat? Strange, strange, strange....which is attracted me to a Limited.

gary, can you send photos of the tire markings and any undercarrage marking to me via email?
briandrice@cablespeed.com

What type of tire markings are you looking for. The number on the tire sidewalls is the original yellow crayon/chalk stick of the last 3 digits of the assembly line tag no. Tires were marked before assy with the line assembly tag no for some reason. I am not too sure that the line assembly tag no is identified anywhere else on the car paperwork other than the actual line assembly tag. Somewhere I have a pic or 2 of the tires close up, and I still have the actual line assembly tag for my car. I will get a pic of it when I get a chance and e-mail it to you. As far as underside/underneath of car, I don't know if any of the markings are still there, but the next opportunity I have to have the car on a rack I will look and drop you an E-mail. Those tires are the original tires that came with the car. I bought the car in August of 2003 with about 8.4 on the clock. It now has, I think, just a hair over 15k or 16K now. And who is it that implied that this car may not look as good in person as it does in photos. I have several friends that will tell you that the car looks as good in person as it does in the pics. Thanks to everybody for the props. This car is a real attenton slut. I will get off pics when I can. Sorry for the long post.

whatever you have...im trying to gather my own information in turbo buick restoration and all the correct markings and tags that should be in one.

my eagle gt's still have a yellow marking on them from the assembly line, and i think the number is there also.

whatever you are willing to share!

I am sorry to hear that, as I own the 2nd ever GN Registry Black Diamond Award winner, and I am extremely proud of mine. If a person can be proud of a car just because they own it. Sorry to hear that you are unhappy with yours. What don't you like about yours, and I apologize profusely to the starter of this thread for taking this thread off topic/subject.

Ty: Come on, give the guy a break. These cars really are not everywhere. I looked and advertised for a mint, solid roof, turbo-t for a long time. And then, mysteriously, 1 day 1 popped up on tb and I followed through with it. I have looked at so many of these cars, other people gave me the name, TOLTK, (The on Line Tire Kicker). You just lucked into finding a car as nice as your car, and you think that it should be that easy for everybody. It's not.

FELLAS hey,,,,,,,,,,,

You take me WAY to serious,,,,,,,I am just giving 1 of 1035 a hard time. I realize it sometimes it takes a long time to find what you REALLY want. I looked for almost 2 years to find the "right" TTA for me. As some administrators here can attest to.

Really, I wish 1 of 1035 the best of luck in his search, I was only poking fun at him.

If I was really on his case you would know;)

Best of luck

Ty

Oops: my bad:
Sorry, Ty, my apologies. I am sure that no one would complain if you posted some nice pics of that killer TTA.

I must be fortunate to find nice cars with relative ease. I know it's luck.

When I looked at my TTA in Maryland it was in a heated garage and the gentleman was so particular about his cars he opened the door with a baby diaper, sat on the front seat with a sheet and it had paper on the floor board. After he got the car, he took the time to replace EVERY nut and washer with a GM replacement on the undercarriage that had surface rust or any type of wear.

The former owner of my Typhoon bought the truck for his wife as a "grocery getter" but she didn't like it (shifted too hard). He was a painter for GM and car nut. He just put it in his garage as a brand new truck, cleaned it and it sat....for years.

I'm going to drive this Limited and am looking forward to surprising many people with the landau roofed, grandpa's car. :D

Gary,,,,,,,,,,

No problem at all,,I went back and read my posts and I could see how you guys could take it wrong. I didnt word them like I should have,,thats the problem with typing vs speaking.

I wish 1 of 1035 the best.
