like the title says drag shock does anyone use them on the street are they really that bad(lose control of the car).If so what brand works best?

Well I have drove my 87 gn about 500 miles on the street, Not all at one time, I did drive 160 miles to the Indy Grand Nationals, Interstate all the way at 55-75 mph with full race setup and if you didn't know it had race shocks you would have never known it, The street does eat up your drag radials but the car is a lot safer with them, The best brand is what ever you like.

I have Comp Eng drag shocks front and back on my race car and drive it on the street all the time...surface streets...freeway...doesn't seem to handle any different than when I had Bilsteins on it...only time I lose control is when I get on it WOT.. :D...and it wouldn't matter what shocks I had on it...

I am also running the comp eng.drag shocks set to 90/10 it drives rides like normal but im not looking to burn corners

I have 90/10 lakewood on the front and the front sway bar removed. The shocks made no difference at all driving or at the track, if I did it again I will go with adj fronts. I even lossoned the control arms to help lift and still no difference. If you are going to do 60% or more street driving I would not worry about drag shocks, there are better things to make you hook and go faster.

I have comp eng.Drag shocks Front and rear with bias ply Pro Tack 27X4 and 28/11.5/15 Hoosier quicktime pro's no issues on the street at all :D
And boy does she HOOK!!! :D
