I am trying to find out if anyone knows who worked on this car

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4540269143&ssPageName=ADME:B:LC:MT:1

I bought this car and I am having serious problems with it, post about in Tech later.

I am not looking to be mad or talk junk just have some questions. I know no body can stand behind work that long.

There are buttons and wires and all kinds of stuff the guy I bought from did not know much about the car either.

I feel like most of the work done on car, far is what I am looking for, was done in Florida.

A board member FLagn or something like that bought it from another board member and then I bought from the guy he sold too.

My only other option is to strip out wiring harness and start over from scratch.

If you recognize car please let me know. I am really about to go crazy trying to fix it.

Thanks!

I was looking at that car too. but I did a search on the guy who sold its user name and it looks like it gave him some issues, then frustration led to selling it. There is really no point in contacting anyone about wiring issues because I doubt you would get a straight answer. Because if they knew what the problem was, they would have fixed it. Send it to a knowledgable wiring guy and have him make sense out of it. Goodluck.

What posts

What post? Do you remember the name you talking about. I went through all the guys post I bought from and all I say was buying and selling parts. Any leads you can give would be greatly apprecitated. If I can see what he posted and tried it might help me too. THanks .:D

If the wiring is that bad (chopped up, spliced)…. just buy a new harness. I know harnesses are pricy but these cars can become an electrical nightmare very fast. By time you get through spending countless hours figuring things out and/or possibly paying someone to trouble shoot the issues, the $600 (give or take) for a new harness is well worth it. Good luck.

got all that

Did you see any other any where else. Thanks for your help!!!
I am just hoping I can catch something somewhere that may save me alot of headache. Not to far from just saying screw it and getting a FAST system.
But any help is greatly appreciated!!!

If you post about the issues put a link to it in here

unless you have pics or say whats going on with it you wont get much help

If you go with fast youd have to buy the stand alone harness for it to fix any harness issues .. the typical way to put them in is to use an interface harness that still uses the factory harness

hollor if you need someone to straiten out the mess :)

I have a complete engine harness out of a GN and its in excellent condition, It even has the light harness attached to it aswell for the head lights and park lights that I could sell for $350+ shipping if your interested.
if I was you i would start from scratch and use a new engine harness then work your way from there.

Thanks for reply's

I have an extra harness thanks though. I just got my injector light today so going to test them monday. Going to go through that complete No Start sheet again. If not working for sure going to change harness.

I have not been able to post pics on this board or I would. I am sure some body would know what all this stuff is if I took good pics. I do not have a web page or community website place to post. If any body will tell me how I will post.

Thanks again for every ones help. Met some very cool guys off of this board:D

Found an old friend too.

Shane, if you want me to come out tomorrow to try and help I will. I still have 2 days left of vacation. As far as electical stuff I've often been told the best place to take it to is Cox Armature. Supposedly they have one of the best wiring guys around. However, the guys rebuilding the engine in my first GN couldn't get it started and called him over but he couldn't find the problem. After several months it was found to be the middle wire on the cam sensor. Just give me a call or e-mail back and let me know. I may go to the track tonight or tomorrow, totally depends on the weather. Later and good luck man.

Hey bud just sent you a PM

My little girl broke her arm just got a cast today and my little boy has been sick all week with bad infection. Probably just mostly be DADDY  this weekend. Bad week maybe next week be better, Later bud!

I can try and get some pics. up for you.

Email me one subject at a time with a few photos of the wiring and we can figure it out sooner or later.

Most of the manuals and wiring diagrams are around the internet for the car shouldn't be that hard to fix up. :)

I'm on dialup modem here so one subject or problem area at a time is good for me.
:p
