SignUp Now!I'm sorry, I didn't make my answer simple enough for you. My point, which apparently sailed over your head, is that different engines respond differently to different spark plugs, blown or unblown. If you read all the post, you may have noticed the sentence about the waste spark ignition. That ignition works well with the AC plugs, and with Autolites, and with NGKs, as long as you don't go for platinum/irridium/etc. With the plugs that are "tried and true", Buicks will run very, very fast, and the plugs don't present any problems. So, it may be that another plug will work just as well, but why find out the hard way? It is KNOWN that the plugs mentioned will work, so no experiments are needed to find others. The best you can do is find that another plug works just as well, and it's likely that it won't, so why try?No the mustangs were not running buick engines and that doesnt answer my question
