Why rich after a WOT run.

Last night I got on it hard going up a couple of hills. There were red light at the top and as I crested the hill, I just slipped into neutral and coasted to the light.

However,when I went to leave, the car was flooded and stalled. I had to floor the pedal to get started agianand once it cleaned out I seemed fine. This happened twice.

Anyone able to give me some thoughts
