I got a old Inovate LM1 system from a friend new in the box last month in a parts swap deal.
I got it out and it has all the cables and the bung to weld into the exhaust system etc...
How do most use this thing ? I am guess it records o2 over a run and you can download it with the included software to a computer. Seems like I read it might be able to log 6 other things if you wire it up.
So how do most use these things ? install the o2 sensor permanent and run it through the firewall ( looks like a big hole would have to be cut... ) or like I saw in amg where they ran the cable through the door with it tapped to the car...? Anyone use this setup ? Wondering if I should just sell it and get a gauge. I had figured the portable unit would let me use it on both my cars though.

Have you tried a search on the LM-1? I know there are several users out there. I have no experience w/innovates to help. Might also check the forum on Mike's fullthrottlespeed.com It might be part of the p/l forum.

I have the LC-1 wide band unit, hooked up to a gage and the powerlogger, which also let's you see it on the scanmaster.
