My buddy has a 87 Grand National and I'm wanting to check if I might have a bad MAP sensor for my speed pro setup. The Grand National MAP sensor is a 2 bar sensor, correct? This should work for troubleshooting purposes right?

Stock gn's have a one bar map. Remember..it was just for the boost gage not any other function.

True, but it's got to be a 2-bar MAP anyway, as a 1-bar MAP will only show vacuum from -28" to "0". ;)

Thats why I thought GN came with a 2 bar sensor...to show boost right? With a one bar, unless I'm missing something, it would only show vacuum.

I have two MAP sensors. How can you tell if they are 2 bar or 3 bar sensors? Thanks, Robert
