TurboMike no longer does this service.

I was wanting to keep my own elbow (87) and just have it ported, as I know it's in overall good shape with under 5K miles.

Is there anyone experienced doing elbow porting anymore? (I don't want my elbow to end up swiss-cheesed or as an "on-the-job training" excersise ;) )

Porting the Turbo Exhaust elbow is not like porting heads....anyone can do it....The object of porting the elbow is to make the area larger, different to heads which is to totally to redesign the flow if the air to and from the valves.

Just grab a dremel, a beer...and spend a few hours removing material from the elbow.

Removed the stock turbo elbow yesterday -- I don't honestly see much benefit to noodling with it -- am I wrong?

the inside is just one big open "Plenum" that's already radiused (no sharp angles). From measuring and comparing carbon deposits, it also appears the elbow matches perfectly to the turbine's exhaust opening. The puck is well centered on the turbine's bypass hole, too.
