Will solder stick to brass?

I'm installing a Trans temp guage...I want to install a brass tee(for the sending unit) inline with the rubber hose for the external cooler but I would have to ground the brass tee for it to work...can I solder a wire to the tee?...will the solder stick to the brass?

yes you can...works even better with a brass only flux but the copper flux will work too....good luck
