Will this Posi work on my T?

My guess is that it should work, any ideas?

GM 8.5 inch 10 bolt 3 series posi. Accepts 28 spline c-clip axles. It is from a 1987 K10. This is the Eaton Automatic Locking Differential GM used in Trucks and Vans.

Where are you going to buy this from?

GM had different style posi rears, as in

is a piece of sh.. its a whizzz bang style, one tire will spin then lock the other. they are not the best, but work, i hated it in my V8 S-10

this is not a piece of sh.. its actually a posi. Notice the S spring

I would buy one for 3 series gears 3.08 to 3.90's

http://www.gearsareus.com/ I got my Eaton here. They were very helpful. The install kit was great too. They might be able to tell you if the unit you are looking at will fit.
