Word - if the rubber seal is good - you are golden.
If not - do replace it before taking the time to install the trim.
Or else - watch out for flying trim.

Me - if I'm replacing the trim - I generally replace that rubber seal - if there is any doubt

same here, don't see a rubber seal seal. replaced trim - it went went flying as soon as I hit 60mph.
Bought new clips and trim but have not installed it yet because.......see last sentence!

The rubber seal strips actually install in the trim pieces.

I got the trim and clips from gbodyparts - clips are white plastic like original.
My bodyguy said I should have got metal clips?
Don't know if gbodyparts has metal clips.
