My wiper motor is kind of slow. Was that normal for our cars, or is it just tired. I'm assuming it's original but I'm sure it hasn't been used much at all. Can they wear out or get tired just sitting there? Are the replacements faster? Anyone know?

Before you do anything check your voltage at the motor. Make sure your getting full voltage, these cars were horrible in power distribution. I think I've relayed and hot wired half the components in my car to get proper voltage

Good question. I turned my wipers on for the first time in about 15yrs and it was sooooo slooooow. Even on high speed it was slower than my newer truck at it's slowest speed. I still don't know if this is normal so it would be interesting to see a vid of someones wipers to compare to.
Any takers?
