Would you sell your sperm (or egg) ? ---

I was just watching TV and they said that a woman can sell her egg for $3500 !!! One lady on there said she did it 9 times already.

That made me think about selling sperm.

Then I wondered what it would feel like to know I had a kid out there that I would never know.

I dont think I would do it unless they paid a TON ... and I doubt they pay guys as much as they pay women (im sure its harder to get the egg out of the woman

)

One thing to consider is whether you want kids or not yourself. Just imagine if you had kids shortly after you sold/donated yourself and one day your kid hooked up with the one you knew nothing about. It really is a recipe for disaster to me seeing this happen as much as it does.

It acytually happened in the NE a few years ago. The state said the 2 were bro/sis after they'd been married and had kids. They wanted to DNA test them and a legal battle lasted several years but the couple refused to be tested and I think they moved out of state to get away from it. It was all over the news back in the 90's if I remember right. The 2 of them went to rival high schools and met at some sort of function and it went from there.
