An Audi is a German car and you'd have to use German sand. The Honda guy probably used Japanese sand.

Wow............ :biggrin: but it isnt his fault... how could he ever known that the engine couldnt run with sand in it....... its all Audi's fault for not putting a warning sticker under the hood..........."DO NOT PUT SAND IN THE ENGINE"......LMAO!!!!!

Closest thing I've ever heard was someone trying to kill one of those old slant 6 Dodge engines...guy kept dropping BB's down the carburetor while holding the throttle open to kill it....took 2 tries to accomplish.

What he did't realize was he needed to water wash the sand through the motor while it was running.
