I thought that I had posted the following in a thread that you also posted in about the low voltage. Just need to run a IGN+ switched wire to the F terminal of the alternator connector. The PNK/BLK wire at the EGR solenoid is an easy place to pick up the IGN+.

Do this, unplug the alternator connector (not the stud), and check the markings on it. The larger end will have S (sense), then F (field), the L (lamp), then P (?). Go to the junkyard and look for a connector that has the L & F terminals with wires. Wire into your car.

This is exactly what the field fix kit does, only easier as no soldering required.

Different guy.... That post was mine. Similar situation.

My alt doesn't have a two wire connector, so I am searching for one. Found one, but its about 20 miles away up the highway. Limited time today, so I will pick it up tomorrow.
