I'm looking for nice clean orignal 86-87 turbo Y-pipe. If someone has one laying around thats not cankered up and wants to get rid of it, let me know.
PM/ pics/price would be awesome.

Thanks, GC

i have a complete stock style exhaust system with less than 5000 miles. how much of the "y" do you need?

I need from the cat mounting flange to just before the muffler inlets. Thanks, send me some pics of what you got.

ttt, still looking.:frown: ..somebody,somewhere..has got to have a nice,low-mileage,non-molested OE y-pipe..from cat flange to the short pipes before the muffler inlets

in a pinch...

When I got my GN several years ago, the previous owner had to have a cat converter put on because of where he lived. The place cut the 4 bolt flange off the Y pipe and welded a round in/out cat in. When I put on the new downpipe, I needed to get a new Y pipe then too. Went to the local parts places looking for a Y pipe. Found one at a store locally. It was a Maremont #459931. Comparing it to the original, they were identical. Right down to the wrinkles in the bends. Owner of the store had a GN. He thought Maremont was a supplier to GM back then, that's why he got it. Don't know what the new ones they make look like, tho. I see AutoZone lists the same Maremont p/n online, $170. Might try that if all else fails. Maremont

I have a decent one. It's at my uncles house, it may be a couple days before I can get over there for pictures.

Here are some pictures of my y pipe. It's not as nice as I remembered, the ends are rough and there are a few pin holes in the larger section.

Hey Bob, Thanks for the pics..It's hard to find a nice/decent OE that's not rusting from the inside out, a dark, rusty, discolored seam is a dead give away. I guess I'm asking a bit much for 22years old, but will keep looking.

Thanks Again, GC
