I know it's a long shot, but...

Does anyone have a sheet aluminum or sheet metal deep trans pan?

I believe CK and Husek used to make them, but seems like Hughes cast aluminum is the only option now.

Thank you

You use the 700 filter as it has a bottom pickup as the 200 is a top pick up. Other than that they are almost identical

Cast aluminum too :-(

And it says uses stock filter, I thought deep pans use 700r4 filters

Just like the Hughes alum pan, you must slightly grind the 3 small bosses cast into the bottom of the pan to fit a 700 filter.

I have a used deep aluminum sheet metal pan. Bought it used and it leaked so I took it off. You could probably use gasket sealer to seal it. Looking for $150. plus shipping if you're interested. My understanding is that almost all of these had a problem sealing.

My David Husek pan does not leak and is sheet metal aluminum. The flange is pretty substantial and I used a cork gasket torqued to factory spec over and over and over as the cork crushed and then check it every time I have the car on the lift. Doesnt leak a drop and its been on for a year.

He is going to build my transmission, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't make them anymore.

And another few options here! http://buickgn.com/transmissionpans.htm Available in plain, black or polished!
