Im looking for tan interior parts for a 86 T-type , must be in good condition. Need front seat covers for a bench seat with the correct material for this year in good condition, door panels, horn ring uncracked. And possibly any other tan parts you have . E mail me direct at Fortune628@aol.com or post here.

Not to be a smart a$$ but good luck finding the seat cover material for that seat. I looked like crazy or a year & 1/2 when I was restoring my t-type and I could only find a little over a yard of material that some shop in Cali had stuffed in a corner and it was not enough. I ended up using 2 different materials but no one even noticed it, not even Kirban

Here's a pic of what I did with my seat...

Your seats look good , what material did you use? My seats are still pretty nice except on the drivers side lower where you sit directly on it. Shows a little wear.

I used the 86 factory material for the middle of the seats but I only had enough to to the bottom edge of the bottom and the top edge of the back of the seat instead of the whole seat like it should be.
The rest of the seat was done in the smmother material that is also on the seat from the factory such as the back half by the ash tray inb the seat and also the same material as the center of the seat & the arm rest. I just used more of the other material as I could only find a yard of the correct cross hatch stye material. If you look closely at the pic you will see what I am trying to say...

I empathize with the tan interior thing...I have an 87 Limited turbo with the tan leather 45/45 seats and interior. I have decided to swap the drivetrain into my rustfree 87 V8 car instead. Once I do that this fall, I'll be looking to unload all the tan parts I have accumulated as the "new" car has the grey leather 45/45 seats...much easier to find parts for!

57loboy,

Can you keep me informed also as to when/what you'll part out when the time comes?

Thanks!

I'll post it all here - probably a few weeks out at best as I've not yet started the process...
