Like it says, looking for a pair or maybe 2 of Victor Reinze Stock head gaskets.
Anybody got some to sell? I had about 4 pairs & only 1 set left & not even sure who sells them now? If you know who does sell them it would be great if you could pass the info on to me.
Cheers! David

Car Quest price quote was like $125!!! FOR A PAIR. About 2 months ago.

I dont think they are Victor's are they? Thought they were Roll stuff & Roll HG's are not for me!

I'm pretty sure they are Victors...the part number is a VR part number but I can't seem to find it in their catalog. It could be an old part number. I would call FT and verify. I do remember they are graphite type gaskets with the fire ring, and were identical to a set of Felpro 9441s I had laying around.

If they were Rol's I wouldn't have bought them either!

Any of the graphite head gaskets that appear like stock ones such as the 9441 or the GM part # are all made by Victor Reinze and all perform the same. They have the wire in the fire ring.

Not true!
I did a photo comparison of the two; Victor vs Felpro 9441.
the VR has a wider fire ring.
(See the other site for thread).

OK. But ive never seen one fail easier than the other in a car going 125mph or slower in the quarter. Ive ran all of them that had the wire in the fire ring. VR, 9441, GM. They all served equally well when under 125mph in the quarter.

I wish I knew?? Is it whats on the gasket? Someone know? Thanks!

I will get a number soon for you! I found someone who know for sure.

wow the victors are better notice how the felpros have floating fire rings and the victors are connected solid in between the cylinders or maybe the other side is like that just noticed

I ended up ordering a pair of VRs today from Weber racing because I popped a HG the other day. It's about $100 shipped to my door.

On a side note, the local Carquest was the only place around here that can get the VR 3797s. But they wanted $61 each!

FYI...Today I pulled the blown head gasket off my motor and it has the number 3797 stamped on it. I'm assuming that it's for Victor part # 3797. So I'd say that the gaskets that Full Throttle sells are by Victor Reinz, which is a pretty decent deal then for 90 bucks. Plus you get misc gaskets you might need anyway.
